I am a person who easily get bored, I can't stand staying at home a whole day, I have to do something outside, even it's only buy some snacks in a mini market, I always need a little time to get out from home for a while to get refreshed. Furthermore, I'd be so gladly, if there's anyone pick me up and take me for a walk, or go to a coffee shop, maybe?
Well, at one of my boring evening, my mom and dad asked me to go to the town square with them, firstly I was confused about what we're going to do there, if we're going to have dinner, why town square? As far as I know, the foods sold around my town square, Temanggung town square, are not tasty enough.
But I guessed wrong, my mom and dad took me to another town square in Magelang, Magelang is a city near Temanggung, just 45 minutes reached by car. And finally we got there. Wow, I was surprised, the square was more crowded than my hometown's square. Hmm, maybe because of Ramadhan, the situation changed. The food courts are fulfilled with a lot of people who were going to have dinner, hmm, seeing this condition I concluded that the served foods and beverages are tasty enough, there were also so many teenagers selling takjil (food for breaking the fast) , when I came here, it was 10 minutes to go for breaking.
In the other side there were some teenage couples sitting on the bench, spending their romantic times together while waiting for break the fasting time. My mom told me, in the past, she and my dad loved to go there, she said that this square was her favorite place for date, she used to buy roasted corn and ate it together with my dad.
She started to tell her old stories with my dad, as I asked her more. I believe that my parent's love stories will be the most romantic story ever, beside that, I never now how their story before, I wanted to know how they met and how they finally married. My dad just gave a little smile when he heard about our conversation.
It was a great quality time with them. It is rarely now for us to have a relax and long time chit-chat since all of us are disturbed with our own duties. Actually, in my every conversation with them, there's still big point question that I want to ask them. DO THEY PROUD OF ME NOW? But don't know why, that question has never come out from my mouth till now, though. I never know what they think and fell about me, DO I MAKE THEM HAPPY?
Anyway, let's talk about my outfit, I wore a white unbranded t-shirt with vintage tape cassette pics, a denim jacket bought at a thrift store, a denim jeans by Lea and a pair of Nevada slip-on shoes. Just a casual outfits for walk.
At last I wanna say. Always give your time for your parents before they finally leave you, time take them unpredictable, when they leave you, you'll just realize that there's no second chance.
